The 4 qt AF101 covers fries, wings, reheats, and vegetables. Simple controls and a dishwasher basket. A household of 4 or more, or two temperatures at once, outgrows 4 qt: that's a DualZone, not this basket forced to do both.
When should you skip full price?
Prime Day, Black Friday, and Lightning Deals often cut ~$20–$40. If it isn't urgent, leave it on the wishlist. The price cycle is in buying the AF101 on the deal cycle.
Where it sits in the kitchen
In the weekly kit, the AF101 does daily crisp, the Instant Pot does batch, and the Ninja CREAMi does dessert. Three jobs, no overlap. For a small kitchen, continue with three appliances that actually fit.
Is 4 quarts enough?
Yes for 1–3 people. No for a big household or two temperatures at once.
